well.. work today was definitely enriching.. learned a lot of stuff that i probably wouldn't have if i didn't get this job.. but it's definitely pretty tedious in a way.. was really damn damn super shacked by the time i could punch out.. and it's only my first day.. hmm. i'm working shift 1 again tomorrow.. oh god.. hope i survive..
hmm.. so i swear i was quite retarded today.. standing at the back entrance of merlion.. then when the first person went in i was like "hi i'm looking for miru" and she was like "ohh i'm from the retail" so i was like ooh. LOL. ya then after that miru came. she's nice. everybody i met today was pretty nice and helpful.. so ya.. got uniform and all and then starrrrted my training i guess.. lol.. let's skip the part where i have no idea how to use an iron -.-
so let's see what i did today.. hmm..
- Ticket tripper first with Sing Dai.. ya i think that's his name lol. hmm he's nice and very helpful .. then there was this period where a group of like A LOT like almost 40 plus malaysian students came.. and i was like repeating "here's a lucky coin for it there'll be a surprise after the show" like 83238549572975942 times.. -.- it was quite fun really..
- Then after lunch i went to the office to count coins -.- i swear. i never want to see a gold merlion lucky coin again lol.
- Then i did the daily checklist thing with sing dai.. it's like .. walk around the vincinity of merlion and make sure everything is a good show.. quite fun though lol.. counting lights and all..
- Thenn some basic training thing about paperwork and stuff.. damn dry lol.. but oh well.. and i forgot to bring the stack of "notes" home -.- lol
- Then finally we did mercubs.. i think mercubs is fun.. but it's kind of .. hmm.. tricky.. in the sense of tricky guests as well as the guides. but all in all, fun .. roarrrrr..
oh yepp. and yesterday me and steph went for bbq with char's classmates and all .. raphael, samuel, chan and charles i think and 2 girls.. jasmine and i forgot the other one.. and then wenying came later.. and fel came even later.. then chan brought some of his friends as well.. yepp ..quite fun.. then we played some ultra lame truth or dare -.- psh.. ok lol.. then cabbed home with wenying because steph and the rest wanted to go to white sands macs but i was pretty tired plus had work so.. lol =p.
