it's been a long time since i last blogged.
ya know why? cos i don't like writing stuff on a virtual site anyone can visit.
but hell, i'm happy today so my blog is back for now.

so sentosa is now history..
bye to all the crap/politics there,
but i'll miss all the great times and great people <3.

for the last few days i've been soo annoyed with myself.
how i'm not doing annnnything with my life so to speak.
and i'm pining for school, yeah...
so i'm gonna go back to school...
back to temasek polytechnic...
cos i realised that, i'm still eligible for govt grant even tho i quit once!

this time, no more computer engineering.
i'm going to take Intelligent Building Technology.
I've thought it through once, twice, three times and it still interests me.
downside is that i have to take circuit analysis again,
remember circuit??? how i bitched about it in computer engineering?
yeah but i'm going to pass it this time, gonna make sure i pass it with an A.
cos i passed it once, i'm sure i can do it again, even better.
it's like guitar hero. i play the song the first time, get 3 stars, play it again, 4 stars, keep trying, i get 5 stars.
It was E.device that i couldn't pass. and guess what?
there's no e.device in IBT :)
and guess what? i get free points! Digital fundamentals all over again.
remember that too? my fav subject? i'm sure can cruise past that.
not gonna let down my guard though, fuck skipping lectures.
and guess what else? no more DFUND2.
Emaths and Emaths2 all over again, but this time,
i'm not going to skip lectures and act all smart.
guess what else is in the course??
COMPUTER PROGRAMMING.
ohhhhh man i love that module so much.
it's easy as hell, and fun as hell, and i love it.
gonna have to do writoral, effcom and PSPS all over again
but, it was just boring, it was easy for me.
it's english. i just need to find a way to stop being bored all the time.
gotta stop giving up easilyyy!!

i'm not saying poly is gonna be a bike ride.
i know it won't. it's gonna be tough,
and there's gonna be times i feel like sleeping and skipping lectures.
well. i also think i'm going back to canoe polo.
i gave up easy the last time.
i gave up on a sport i love because i got sick of school.
i also partly gave up cos the trainings were sooo frequent.
but. no more of that!
i can do it this time :] i know i can.
nobody's gonna stop me. i'm better than superman.

who am i kidding? maybe all of you, but i aint kidding myself =D

Just as we have smart phones today, so too, do we have smart buildings! These buildings make use of intelligent building technology, such as fingerprint-activated door locks, pre-programmed temperature and lighting settings, wireless remote operation of windows, curtains and household appliances, and power-saving ventilation.
New buildings today, including the integrated resorts and the business and financial centre at Marina Bay with facilities for business, entertainment and recreation, all come with the latest intelligent features. Existing buildings are also continually being retrofitted and upgraded to meet the growing demands of businesses and people, as well as the need to conserve water and energy. It is envisaged that the prevailing growth in the building industry will continue to fuel the demand for intelligent buildings in the retail, office and residential space sectors. Thus, a large pool of professionals with a blend of technical and people skills will be needed to fill new positions in the intelligent building industry.
This course will allow you to tap into this growing trend, by training you to manage intelligent building systems and facilities, including eco-centric designs, advanced systems, intelligent gadgets, IT and project management.
Students will focus on intelligent building systems and facility management, and be equipped with broad design and engineering fundamentals that underpin technological applications like infocomm, automation, security, management and design.
